Women's sneakers, which are simply short boots reaching slightly above the ankle, with a bit of masculine character, have become an absolute hit over the past few seasons when it comes to classic and very versatile trends in the world of women's fashion. When the end of summer is fast approaching, and you can feel a whiff of melancholy in the air heralding the inexorably approaching autumn, they appear on store shelves and can be obtained in almost every possible corner. There is, of course, nothing surprising in this, since this type of footwear has for a long time enjoyed an invariably straightforwardly huge interest among lovers of unforced elegance, as well as enthusiasts of good style. Going outside on a crisp, sunny October morning, you will notice a lot of girls and ladies roaming the streets of cities and towns in slippers of various colors (from subdued to very flashy), patterns and in simple or slightly more daring cuts. We can safely venture to say that every woman should have at least one pair of women's slippers in her closet, as they work wonderfully as a complement to many types of styling.
How it all started, or a brief history of the sneakers
Women's sablet boots also sometimes function under two other names, namely "rollingstones" and "beatles". The genesis of both words is related, as you can very easily guess, to the fact that the members of the once most popular rock bands - The Rolling Stones and The Beatles, liked to wear this very type of shoes. However, the history of the footwear we love to this day goes back to much earlier times. In the second half of the nineteenth century, the dominant type of shoe worn by a large part of the population, were boots. Due to the fact that in the long run they turned out to be quite impractical in the context of everyday use, people began to look for a solution that would be characterized by greater functionality. It was then that the court shoemaker of Queen Victoria of Great Britain designed a model of low boots with elastic bands sewn on both sides of the upper. They proved so comfortable that they began to be used mainly for equestrian activities.
However, the greatest popularity of women's slippers gained in the 1960s in London, which was then regarded as a city that was, so to speak, the determinant of fashion trends of the time. The British youth subculture of Mods, characterized by an extravagant and unconventional style of dress, also contributed to the growth of widespread interest in this type of footwear. It was during this period that sable boots became a favorite part of the closet of the previously mentioned English music stars, often wearing them in combination with suits, for example.
What types of women's sable boots can be purchased from us?
The qualities most valued in the case of the shoe boots, are their simplicity and minimalism. Nevertheless, nowadays designers are going beyond traditional concepts and using their creativity to play with convention, creating more and more original versions. The choice of boots is really huge, so even without putting particularly great effort in the search for the perfect pair, we can easily find them in many color variants and shades. The most common color will certainly be black, which is the undisputed classic of the genre and the most versatile version possible, matching literally everything. Immediately after black there is also the obligatory color of autumn, i.e. brown, while in its case we can already talk about at least several shades, usually differing from each other by a few tones. In addition, a lot of female supporters have gained a lot of followers in the colors of timeless gray, beige, purple, red wine, bottle green and deep navy blue. More daring and unafraid of experimentation, women can reach for shiny gold or silver, as well as a variety of prints.
Moving smoothly to the topic of patterns, the most popular among women's boots are, without a doubt, all kinds of animal motifs. So ladies often opt for boots imitating snake skin, spots, classic leopard print, tiger stripes or zebras, for example. Sometimes there are also floral motifs or inspired by geometric figures.
In general, when imagining the most ordinary women's sable boots, we mean ankle boots, on a flat and relatively thin sole, apart from rubber inserts on the sides, without any additional decorations. Indeed, such a description fits some, or maybe even most, of the pairs currently available on the market, but, of course, the next ideas of fashion designers come into play almost immediately, so the traditional schemes are gradually broken. We're talking, among other things, about different sole thicknesses (sometimes also platforms), higher posts or lower and wider square or rectangular-shaped heels, buckles or zippers that give a rock claw, as well as studs, chains, stitching or sizable buckles.
As for the material itself, from which these women's shoes are made, we can choose between natural leather or eco-leather (in lacquered or unlacquered versions), or a finish of suede or its imitation.
What to wear women's sable boots with?
In principle, women's sable boots are typical footwear worn in autumn and early spring, so the styles we usually match them with can be described as standing on the borderline between summer and winter. Women's slippers will suit every woman, especially when we choose them according to the style with which we most identify - so that they are a kind of reflection of our personality. These are shoes that are actually suitable for a multitude of different occasions, but it should be remembered that a very important role in this case is played both by their type and the clothes that we decide to match with them. The simplest models in subdued colors, made, for example, of suede, will be great for everyday use and will look good with casual, but with fashionable accents outfits. It is worth wearing them with tight jeans in a cool shade of indigo and a thicker sweater with a loose oversize cut, complementing the whole with a simple, but quite sizable handbag, matching the color scheme of the rest of the elements. A good idea for a simple styling with a bit of flair will be a combination of black leather slippers decorated with a few buckles with black trousers and Ramones over a top or t-shirt with a similar print. If, on the other hand, we want to bet on elegance, it is worth considering the choice of footwear made of black patent leather, which, when combined with fabric cigarette pants and a snow-white shirt, as well as an original checked jacket in shades of beige or gray, will create an ideal styling, in which we can boldly go to work, as well as to an important business meeting.
The slippers are ideal for women of all ages, and by properly matching them with other elements of closet, we are able to create a fashionable outfit that will work in almost any situation.
