They come in both flat versions, as well as on an anchor or platform. Women's espadrille sandals are not suitable for formal, elegant styling, and it is better not to wear them with tailored pants or elegant cocktail dresses. But they will be perfect for most informal summer sets - accompanied by shorts, airy boho-style dresses, embroidered blouses and large plaid bags (very fashionable recently).

. If you choose those in nude color, you will add lightness and grace to the styling. they will come out great worn with pastel clothes in shades of muted pink, gray, blue, light green. They will also find their way into black and white or exclusively white styling. Then for a long time they exiled from our closets and dressing rooms as immodest and indecent footwear, since they exposed the bare foot. They returned only in the 1920s, after World War I, which brought women's independence in the political and moral sphere, and, incidentally, in fashion. Along with short skirts, knitted dresses, pants, comfortable sandals appeared. Great popularity was gained by open-toed pumps-type shoes, with a hole in the nose exposing the toes, but worn mainly at home. In the 1930s, women began to shed their pumps en masse during the summer months, opting for elegant, openwork women's sandals on lightweight soles, made of linen or woven from leather straps.

The 1960s and flower power, the cultural offensive of flower children, brought another breakthrough in the history of women's sandals. They appeared then in a super-comfortable version - on a flat, cork sole, comfortable and foot-friendly. To this day they still have a certain place in our closets. The 1960s also marked the birth of another iconic women's sandal - in disco style, on a stately platform, glowing with neon colors. This striking model is also still loved and keeps coming back in the most varied versions. Today we can't imagine life without sandals. They not only provide us with summer comfort, but also add beauty. Exposing almost the entire foot, they can wonderfully slenderize and lengthen a woman's legs. And the choice of styles is already so large that we can actually choose sandals for any occasion - the most versatile shoes that man has invented.
